7 Day Trash Challenge

This is Rob Greenfield (aka Trash Man). He's pretty famous for biking across the country, promoting food waste awareness by eating from dumpsters (ikr?), and wearing all the trash he created in 30 days.
That's a lot of trash. But, how much trash does a college student make in a week? It doesn't seem like much - an ABP cup here, a sandwich wrap there. It doesn't seem like much when you throw it away, but what if you had to carry it around with you for 7 days?
Here's the challenge:
Don't throw anything away for 7 days. For real.
Stopping at ABP on Monday before your 8am class? Keep that cup and sandwich wrap. Heading to Moe's for tacos after class on Tuesday? Hold on to that food container and drink cup. Grabbing a PSL at BOHO before class on Thursday? Add that Starbucks cup to your collection.
You might want to use a tote bag or two to help you carry everything, and rinsing containers out is a good idea if you like having friends lol. (Things might get a little, um, fragrant.)
At the end of 7 days snap a pic and tweet your trash adventure with the #nccrecycling101 and #7daytrashchallenge hashtags.
A typical week for an NCC student might look like this:

Day 1: an ABP cup with lid and cardboard sleeve.

Day 2: A sandwich wrap and soup cup.

Day 3: A Grande with lid, cardboard sleeve, and plastic stirrer.

Day 4: A plastic plate, napkin, and drink cup with a lid and straw.

Day 5: ABP again. Because: finals.
Eating out on the weekend? Don't forget to add that to your bag! At the end of the challenge look at everything you have. Is it more or less than you thought? How would adding a reusable coffee mug to your life impact your trash game?
