Plastic Takeover

From the moment we wake up to the moment we fall asleep we are surrounded by plastic. The material that is used in almost everything, from straws, containers, phones, and more.
We are constantly on the go, so sometimes contributing to the betterment of our environment may not seem feasible. However, there are little things that we can do every to positively make an impact and contribute to the betterment of our environment.
While plastic has crept up and taken over a majority of what we consume, it has not taken over completely.
There are alternative uses to plastic that can help people take better care of the environment.
SOME ALTERNATIVES:
Opt. out of the plastic bags and use a reusable bag for shopping
Having a reusable water bottle container and throw away less plastic bottles
Skip the use of straws
Bring your own containers for groceries
Asking local grocery stores what the guidelines are for bringing in your own supplies to use for groceries and what they are doing to help reduce the use of plastic is helpful as well.
Reducing the amount of plastic that we consume is an important step in helping the environment and reducing our carbon footprint.
